Just an opinion.
I'm a HUGE House fan, I've never missed an episode and watch the re-runs.
I was so shocked that Cutner died! But I agree, I think something was going on. A few unanswered questions.....
I wonder if they'll bring up any more about Cutner in the next episode or three?
I'd also like to see more of Cameron and Chase, I miss the old crew House had.

I was so shocked! I was really starting to like his character on the show too. I'm still getting used to House's not-so-new-anymore team. I miss Chase and Cameron! But I was SO SHOCKED! I was in disbelief the whole episode. Really crazy stuff. It was an amazing episode!

Someone at work was worried that the actor, himself, had suddenly died, since this episode came out of the blue, so she looked him up and found out about his job in Washington.

How cool that he went into public service! I love it! I'll miss his character, but it's a cool thing he's doing.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I thought it was the worst episode of House I've ever seen. I felt very bad about the suicide. The "love" story about the couple was depressing. I get that he forgave her in the end, but she was still dying. He finally realizes how much he loves her and then she's gone. I know its a medical show and can't be upbeat all the time, but I think it should have been a little more balanced. Besides that, it just didn't seem to have as much going on as usual.

So I was going to watch House when it gets released online next week, and I knew something big happened, so I've been trying to avoid threads and stories talking about the show.

So I clicked on a news story, thinking it would be about Kal Pen working at the white house, but it had show spoilers

It kind of gives off the impression that the writer was a little depressed writing that script doesn't it?

I think that the show's writers were depressed when they wrote that episode.

We posted the same thought at exactly the same time.

I did!
SPOILER ALERT!!!!! For those who havent's seen yet don't read further!

The ending sequence, with Chase and Cameron so happy at their wedding interspaced with scenes of Wilson taking House to the mental hospital was very tough to watch.
It sounds sick, but I don't know that I want House all healthy. It is such a part of his character, the drug addiction and just so messed up personality. Is the show trying to be too PC? I don't know of anyone who watching House be, well, House, will say, "Hmmmm, that drug addiction looks like a good idea!" Now I do like episodes that give us some insight into Houses past and the personal demons he fights, but has it gone too far?

I watched it, I actually really liked it! The last minute or two got cut off (I DVR'd it so I could skip commercials) Seems like he should have gone to a detox facility instead of a mental hospital though.

I honestly thought he should have gone into a detox program not a mental facility!

I didn't figure out that his sleeping with what's her name was just a dream either until right before!

I do, that was freaky. I like that in House like fasion the explaination of their resident death cat was that it liked sleeping on the warming blankets.
Was that the case for the other cat?
