Hmmm do you have a favorite movie?
Theme names:
Games - Checkers, Polo, Chess, etc. (our friend that breeds shelties used this theme!)
TV Shows - Brady Bunch, Law & Order, whichever type of tv shows you like!
Cities - Dallas, Cheyenne, Charleston, other pretty sounding cities
Disney - Villans, Princes and Princesses, Animals
Music - Rock stars, pop stars
Food names - Truffle, Cupcake, Soda, Fettuccine (fetta for short?)
Coffee - Decaf, Latte, Mocha, Frapachino

yeah thats all I got! LOL! Good luck!

If she's going to be spayed, how about "Fini"? Like at the end of an old film.. but as in 'no more babies after these ones'!

She's a real beauty.

if you like a theme, then i'd choose a name for her that has 'extension' possibilities for the little ones. for example - music... mom could be Melody, kittens could be Harmony, Rhythm, Lyric, Forte, Fermata, Staccato, Lento, Presto, Allegro, etc. [list of terms]
literary - Mom could be Snow White, kits could be dwarves...
something like mine - all computer-related names. web browsers - Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Camino, Opera, Safari, etc.

She's beautiful!
Can't think of any names right now but I'll try to come up with a few.

Wow! Mama cat is a doll. She reminds me of Karen's Abby (just the cheeks). However, I keep thinking Tiger, Bandit Queen, and Solace as names. Yes, I am weird. Take it with a grain of salt.

Hmmm...I don't know why, but I've always wanted to call a cat Marloe or Basil
I don't know why though...she's getting big!

Thanks guys, I'll run some of these by Hubby tonight--he has the final say on Momma!!

So far I really like the musical terms theme as well as the name Basil--turning that into a spice theme Pepper (for momma), Cinnamon, Ginger, Rosemary etc

She looks like an "Angel" to me. Girls could be Faith, Hope and Charity. Boys could be Michael, Gabriel, etc. (Mikey, Gabe).

I also like the "seasonings" theme. Boys could also be Sage and Cori (for Coriander).

Hehe, ya, I always thought it would be cute to name a mom Spice, and then all the kittens different spices, but, I don't know what you'd think of Spice- it kindof reminds be of being really girly, so I don't know

Good luck with Mama!

Well Hubby isn't sold on anything yet--I'm really leaning towards the spice theme.

We'll see I feel like she needs a name before these babies come, which means we don't have long.

I don't know why, but when I saw her, I thought of Pumpkin. Strange, I know, since she isn't orange. But then I thought...what about PIES? You could have Pumpkin, Apple, Cherry, Cobbler (not technically a pie, but it's cute), Blueberry, Rhubarb (Rhu or Barb for short), Silk, Meringue, I'm sure there's more. Gosh I hope she doesn't have that many kittens!

I have decided on Ginger!!!! Hubby likes it but is afraid by me naming I think I'm keeping her--not true, I just think she deserves the love a name brings!!

And a spice theme it will be!
