Gus is hurt

He doesn't seem to be in pain. His front declaw is split right to the top. It has blood on it. I trimmed it the best I could and washed it. He and Lucky were racing around the house like crazy this morning. He must have caught it on something. I trimmed their nails on Saturday. Not sure what else I should be doing for him?

Short of calling your vet and explaining what happened to Gus, I think you've done all you can Maybe he can give you a little advice over the phone?

My big orange guy, Taz, split a claw a while back.

He's an indoor cat, like our other two, probably did it running around in a rare burst of activity.

I kept an eye on it for any signs of trouble but it did heal up without any problems.
