The new batch of pics are even cuter! Emily will never replace Trixie, but she will find a place in your heart because love is endless. I agree that Trixie probably had a paw in leading Jerry to Emily. Enjoy your new baby.

Aw, Sooz.
Trixie will never be replaced, but she knows how much love thereis in your house and heart, and I'm sure she had a paw in connecting little Emily with Jerry. Seven weeks sounds about right. She looks so like my Shasta did when I got her -- at 7 weeks -- and with those wonderful huge ears.

She's so tiny - and still has her blue eyes - how precious!
The best gift ever!

Thanks again everyone........I'm slightly concerned that my sweetheart has only peed once that I know of since arriving yesterday and as far as I can see, hasn't pooped. Any suggestions? She's running around loving life having a great time. She has eaten abuot a half a small can of wet kitten food.

It often takes 24 hours or so for a kitten's digestion to settle down.

If I brought home a kitten for my wife, I'm afraid she see it as right on a level with bringing her home a new electric drill. She'd know it was something ***I*** want!

Oh. My. Goodness.

I think it might just be possible to die from cuteness. That is honestly one of the cutest kittens I've ever seen. What a sweetie!

Thanks for posting the new pics of Emily she does look around 6-7 weeks old. She will do fine. Is she litter trained?

She is just too cute!

I've always thought that any guy that would let you put that picture of him up is a real keeper. This just seals the deal. He is a gem!

Emily will never replace Trixie, and Jerry knows that too, but like you said she's meant to fill your heart with new love just for her.
Given that little face peeking around the corner, and those baby paws playing with your finger...I'd say she's going to do a really good job!
Heidi said it perfectly!

As to her pooping... the stress of changing homes can affect those things.
You can help her by massaging her abdomen gently, kind of like you do with very young kittens to stimulate them to go wee-wee, just skip the warm cloth.

Welcome home, Emily.
You ARE a total doll!

so did Cable!
while she's a tabby, to me she looks NOTHING like your
Trixie - i think she'll help you heal by filling your heart w/that new love you spoke of
