my silly picky cats don't care one bit about the economy and our financial situation! they are refusing to eat the evo canned food.
i tried mixing it 75% wellness and 25% evo but they even turned up their noses to that! now i have to go buy more wellness for $36 and change PLUS tax for 12 days worth of food...i can get a case of evo for $28 and change, with tax!

well, i am off to the pet food store to buy more wellness...

What flavor is it? My cats hate the duck! won't eat it no matter what. The favorite here is the turkey and chicken.Beef and venison is tolerated.

it is just the evo cat and kitten chicken and turkey formula. i haven't tried the other flavours since i would have to order a whole case and it is not worth it to us to order it and not have them eat it.

are the 95% meat formulas "dryer" than the cat and kitten formula?

i don't know if that is the reason why they won't eat the evo, but it is "dryer" than the wellness, which is softer and has more liquid. the canidae was also a lot harder and dryer and they wouldn't eat that either. i don't know. it is very frustrating because now it is going to be ~ $100/month to feed 2 cats and it only costs $60/month to feed my 50 lb dog raw food! i would love to feed the cats raw but they won't eat that either. that won't be SOOOOO much cheaper, and better for them IMHO. i am going to end up in the poor house because of them!

i would love to feed kibble but frodo just keeps gaining and gaining weight on kibble - carefully measured and portioned on a schedule!

I feed the chicken and turkey to one of my boys and he eagerly laps it up if I add a tbsp of water to it. Otherwise he just picks at it. He has FLUTD so the extra water is a bonus IMO.
