I want to get my cat some new treats but i would like them to be healthy with no fillers and such. When I was wondering around the petstore I saw dried chicken strips for dogs and the only ingredient was chicken. would it be ok to give too my cat?
Thanks!

take said item with you on next vet visit and ask... Many cat friendly ( ie small and slightly pliable ) jerkys are avail.... I would worry about a cat choking on dog jerky

We have soft treats for our lab (she hates the hard bisket kind). Sometimes the cats will steal the bacon ones. They don't like the chicken strips - they prefer REAL chicken....lol

Sorry about this-
but I've been wondering about that too. Genever loves to chew on things (edible and not) and I thought something like dog bones/biscuits would be perfect, but I haven't bought any because I don't trust they'd be ok for her. My BF doesn't trust her with rawhide even if we only give it to her when we're watching her because of the choking hazard.. It's like i need a scratching post equivalent for her chewing desires...

Mine eat dog treats that are just dried liver or chicken.

Kitten used to chew on rawhide. I wouldn't think there's any more danger in a cat chewing it than a dog since any bone chewing should always be supervised. With other treats.. whenever Kita gets a biscuit Billy runs to share it with her.
So I'm thinking it's more about moderation than anything?
