Baseball Season starts today....

Are any of you baseball fans? Baseball is my favorite sport to watch, I just love it. My team are the St. Louis Cardinals tho I live in NJ where most people are Yankee or Met fans, I was never a fan of the NY teams. Starting today in most areas is opening day so....PLAY BALL

I feel sorry for them, they're going to be awfully cold out there! We had snow this morning, at least it cleared up!
Game time 3:15 - Cards vs Pirates

Rangers are opening today, too. It will be cool, in the 50's, but at least it's not snowing!

Yes I checked out the weather in St. Louis today, not looking good for the opening game. Are you a Cardinal fan???

I've always lived right outside St Louis and Yeppirs! I'm glued to the TV (and TCS of course) waiting for the game to start!

Iv'e been watching the spring season, and my friend has season tickets! Unfortunately the seats in the new stadium don't compare to the original!

I am very disappointed with Gardener playing center field over Cabrera! Present game perfect example!!!!!!

Nice to see a Cardinal fan here. Since I live in NJ I don't get to see many of the Cards games except when they are playing the NY Mets or are on ESPN. I do however have Gameday Audio so I can at least listen to all the games. I hope they can pull this one out, 2-2 so far in the 7th.

By the way now you know where I got my username...La Russa as in Tony La Russa, go Redbirds.

We lost our opener, not good. Again the owners didn't spend any money getting us a decent closer and we will feel it the rest of the season.

Yes! Go (Detroit) Tigers! My BF and I did spring for a couple of ticket sets. The game is on the tube right now. My Tiges have only one place to go - up - since they finished in last place in the AL Central last year.

I sit here with both Pirate Parrot and Wally the Green Monster dolls sitting on my computer. Opening Day - the one day the Red Sox and Pirates are on equal footing!

I'm a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and yes that is where I got my username. Big fan of La Russa too.

I am glad the baseball season has started. I am a huge Braves fan. I am glad the Braves have won their first 2 games this season. We beat the Phillies.
