I have a pregnant persian cat that got pregnant around January 23. That would put her now on day 72. She seems to be alert and healthy and the kittens are moving around like crazy. She had milk come in about 3 days ago. She is absolutely huge and looks like shes ready to pop, but she is not exhibiting any nesting behavior. She is drinking a lot more and seems to sleep more. I took her to the vet last Tuesday and she said that she was fine and I should just leave her alone. I was perfectly fine with that, but that was before she was 72 days pregnant. Should I be concerned? Thank you in advance for any info.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I would keep a close eye on her, because she should be due. Are you certain of the date? Just a few days later would put her well in the "average" range.

She was exposed to our male for a total of 3 days, they lost interest in each other after that, and have been seperated since. Her stomach dropped from her sides more to the floor, so Im thinking she is probably going to be close to delivery soon. Im just concerned that shes being carrying for this long and the vets havent told me anything helpful, but I will be patient and maybe take her in again tomorrow.

Hmmm, I'd try calling your vet, and getting some advice without having to take her in. As long as the kittens are still moving, I wouldn't worry too much.
Good luck!
