The last time I saw her was last night around midnight when I fed her. My son, who found her as a tiny 3 w/o kitten, had friends over & they were in & out of the house all night. My intention was to leave her locked in the bathroom but of course they needed to use it & she would have gone out straight away, & out the back door as soon as she heard them go out.
Oh said she was attacked by the dogs b4 she came in last, which isn't unusual she's been brought up with them, & when he picked her up she seemed to be hurt as she hissed at him.
It's now 2.15 p.m. Sunday & I've been calling her all day. I've even used the trick I use to get her to come to me by rattling her kibble container.
My son's walked around the neighbourhood to see if she's been hit by a car.
I so upset, I can't believe she hasn't come back. I know it's only a been 14 hrs, wow that sounds a long time, & cats sleep through the day but I'm so, so worried.
She started off being an indoor only cat, but oh started taking her outside about a yr ago & she's gradually been impossible to keep inside. She's been so good at coming in whenever I've called her I've become resigned to her going out.
Please send us your come home vibes. I want my cheeky puddycatzez back.

Only 25 mins after posting this my son found Blossom hiding under my oh's bedroom chair. He pulled her out & I picked her up telling her how upset I've been & her not coming when called when she growled at me. She seems to have been hurt somehow, whether by the dogs last night or who knows how.

I'm so happy to have found her but now it looks like a visit to the vets 1st thing in the morning. She's walking but she went straight back under the chair & there wasn't enough time to see how she's walking. She seems very tense in the back end.

I just had a feel of her outside thighs nothing happened feeling the left but when I touched the right she tensed & growled. My son gave her a few pieces of kibble which she ate but won't touch the wet pouch or any more kibble, not like her to not eat everything put in front of her. I felt her ears & nose & they are cold so doesn't seem to have a temp. We'll just have to keep her quiet & as comfortable for now & see how she goes.

Oh, I am so glad you found her! Blossom is one of my faves, and I really didn't want to read this thread. I'm glad I did.

Mega-vibes coming your way that she's just a bit shaken up from her adventure.

P.S. Give her a smooch for me.

Thank you myfamiliars, I will. She still doesn't mind a head/chin rub.

Turns out she was in a cat fight. The vet shaved her hip & found 2 puncture marks from the k9s. She has had an antibiotic injection & is to have 1 drop of Metacam each night.
