Well, Kitty had 5 babies and none of them survived. The last 3 came and seemed ok but were just too small. I was hoping there was another one but the vet says no. Kitty is walking around calling for her babies. She keeps going up to our 6 month kitten and grabbing him by the neck and trying to take him to her nest.

I put an ad on craigslist to see if anyone has newborn babies since her milk has come in. At least then she would have surrogate babies and also be doing some good for some babies.

Aww, I'm so sorry- try calling your local shelter- they always get motherless little kittens needing foster homes, but go quick, because her milk will dry up soon

I'm so sorry.
It would probably be best to make an appt to get her spayed soon so she doesn't have to go through this again.

Awww such a sad note. Hopefully you can find a few kittens for her to nurse for a few weeks and then have her spayed. Poor little ones

Wow.... that's really sad.

I like the idea of getting motherless kittens that could use her nursing and milk. That would be a great way to put a positive spin on a terrible situation.

How Ally would have loved to have had your Kitty when I first found her. In the meantime, be sure to give Kitty lots of love to try to bolster her spirits.

I am so sorry to hear this, do be careful with motherless kittens though, as you dont know what they will be carrying, or if there is a medical reason why Kitty's babies died. I would ask the vet for something to help her milk and get her spayed asap, and you could provide her with a cuddly toy for some comfort.

I know the pain you and kitty are going through, as my cat Stitch had delivery problems and the vet that did her C-section over anethitized her and that killed all 4 of her babies. Her grief was so deep and so long it broke my heart. so good luck and just give your kitty lots of love and kisses

Sorry to hear about the loss of your kittens, please give their mother a gentle hug and some chin scratches for me.
RIP little ones fly free.
