I've never heard of something like this happening before

This is actually almost an odd story. I kind of admire this woman, but I'm kind of perplexed as well.

I can like understand one or the other, but both?

Her two religions incorporate different terms, different symbols, even different principles at times (depending on who you talk to) -- but because she believes in "the oneness of God," her choice makes perfect sense to me.

This woman seems to have gained the insight that nobody's religious franchise has a lock on Truth. No doubt there are many, many paths to the ultimate destination... and they need not be mutually exclusive.
