Well, I guess I won't be entering this contest. I did find a paint program on my computer, but can't figure out how to use it.
I don't really have time to do a search for the instructions. So I'll just have to vote for somebody else's egg.

No, I'm on a Mac. I've never used anything except Photoshop, and the paint program doesn't seem to be very intuitive for me.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I'm not good at coloring, so I'll have to vote for someone else's egg too!

But these are brilliant!

For you creative types out there.... growing up, we didn't color eggs, we decorated them! We didn't use hard boiled eggs, but we'd tap out a little hole on each end, blow out the egg stuff and rinse them out and let them dry. Then we'd dunk them in some kind of base color or those mutli-color things. When they were dry, we'd break out the decorating box my mom kept - a HUGE thing filled with beads and sequins, various cord, etc. We'd glue stuff on the eggs, pop in a hanging cord, and hang them all on a wooden "tree" to display them! Some of them were amazing. The best thing was we packed them up and just added to the collection the next year.
The color did fade over the years. But the ones that were entirely covered in sequins, beads or cord (or some combo) basically looked just as nice 10 years later.

.... I wonder what happened to them???????????? Have to ask mom.

Have fun decorating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laurie
