Silly Question....putting pics in here

I have been trying to get a picture of my boys posted on the cat pages for everyone to see them. Sammycat wants to say hello and so does my little stripped tabby Oscar.

Anyway I have resized the pictures to fit the requirements and I still receive an error message everytime I try to upload them. Any suggestions??

Not a silly question at all. I had the same problem when I first started.

They told me a good way to do this is sign up with www.imagestation.com and load some pictures there--then what you do is open up the picture there, right click on the picture, select Properties and highlight the URL for the picture (leave out the orig.jpg at the end) and then come here to your post, click on the IMG button at the top and paste the image URL over the http line in the image box.

That's how I've done it and it works really well. If you have a website you could probably link to those pictures too because lots of us do that all the time for postings.

Image Station is indeed the easiest way I've found.

Check out How to Post Pictures for instructions on both ways. It also gives a link to a free photo editing program (if you don't have one) where you can resize.

i hope you got the pix thing all figured out. i had the same problem when i first joined TCS. Thanks to angels like Jennifer, Heidi, Laura and Michelle that i finally figured them out! :angel2:
