Does anyone have any Canadian online pet supply sites that they've used? I'm looking for a cat/dog one.

I have a link to a fish one:

http://www.mops.ca/ (great site, good prices on fish supplies).

I just found this one:

http://www.renspets.com/ (but they don't have food....they have a couple supplements I'm interested in tho).

Personally I order alot online, and I've read about Americans ordering cat food online, so I wanted to see if anyone knew of any Canadian sites that sell food/supplies/supplements.

Thanks for any help

Hum.... They have over 4,000 items in cat food alone... I found every brand in there, and then some - what are you looking for?

We used to have a Canadian member that had a leopard gecko or two. For the Canadians who have insect eating lizards there's a thread from a couple years ago with a mail order insect suppliers. It's not cat or dog foods, but that's equally important if we have any Canadian reptile keepers.

Well, for fish, there's also Big Al's Online, the Canadian site. I love the shipping; I believe it's only $5 or so, but over a certain $$ of payment, it's free shipping. I haven't bought anything, but I have set up orders and just never sent in the payment

Try looking at amazon.ca which is the Canadian one.... no cat products there.

I've never ordered online but check out some websites like Champion for Orijen or Acana.

Ordering from the US is crazy. I got some free Merricks one time and it cost me more for customs and duty than it would cost for me to buy the food so it turned out not to be free after all.

I've found most have "find a retailer near you"...but I'll keep looking.

I definately won't order from the US, it is not worth it whatsoever...so I'll keep on looking for Canadian sites. If I find any, I'll post em

I think it would be nice to have all sorts of pet food/product suppliers listed in one thread, should a future member or lurker ever need to find it (and actually use the search function).

Good point.

Reptile oriented (Canadian):

I've listed the location, most will ship Canada-wide....I think all except Near North Rodents. But I've included location because if you're in AB, you don't want to pay shipping for something from ON. if there's someone in AB.

www.canadianfeeders.com (sells live feeder insects, rodents, some supplies...Ontario but ships Canadawide) I've dealt with Rob for ummmm, 6-7yrs now.... great service.

http://canadiansilkworms.com/catalog/index.php (live feeder bugs, not sure what else, Ontario). I have not dealt with these guys because I was not happy with the quality of their worms that I saw at the reptile expos.

www.nearnorthrodents.com (rodents, Ontario)
I've dealt with this Rob for years as well, but I have never had anything shipped by him. I pick up rodents at the reptile expo from him because it is way cheaper to pay the gas for my truck to go to Mississauga and back, than shipping 100lbs of frozen rodents. The quality of his rodents are amazing... he's not very personalable sometimes but you can't beat the quality and price.

http://www.miceandthings.ca/ (rodents, other feeders, some reptile supplies...Alberta) I don't personally deal with Walter but breeders I know in AB and BC say great things about their quality and service.

http://www.coreywoods.com/rodents.shtml (rodents....Ontario) Corey's rodents are ordered from RodentPro in the US... good quality but pricey.

http://www.niagarareptiles.com/pricelist.htm (shipping supplies, handling supplies, probes/tweezers, etc. Ontario) Jon is awesome to deal with.

Fish and Aquarium Supplies:

http://www.petsandponds.com/ ( I've dealt with this one, no probs at all...good pricing)

http://www.mops.ca ( best pricing I've found)

http://www.bigalsonline.ca ( fair pricing, lots of selection)
