I am owned by 6 indoor cars......I mix 2 cans + free feed daily. My 6 cats go for the juice from the can every time
Are most cats that eat canned food "juice lickers" first before eating the main part everytime????

I've got a few "juice-lickers" at my house, too! I add warm water to give them more juice. They lick up all the juice then eat what's left. They have trained me well.

I was just about to respond

Maggie also laps up all the juice first so everything left is dry, then she eats it. At first I was thinking maybe she's dainty and afraid if she just digs in, she might get mess all over her but no ... I just think they like the juice more. She takes after her meowmy, I love gravy bread

Nora would do that and ignore the solid food if I fed her that type. I give her pate and mash it up and mix it well with water so it turns into a "juice" anyway. She loves it.

Sure. What do you want to see pics of?

I've just been visiting at my Nana's house and taken some photos of her new kittens. They are GORGEOUS! Not as cute as my baby Tales of course though!

You can see my latest pics here they are pics of my kitten Tales - she's almost 4 months old.
It's Fluffy's birthday this week so she'll be getting a bath tomorrow to celebrate so I'll probably be posting some more pics of her soon!

Genever does the same, even if i add a bit of water to make more gravy, she'll just lick the gravy and leave the chunks/shreds. So I just give her the pate kinds and mash with warm water. Picky picky!!

Both the boys (Zach and Forrest) are juicers. They get canned 3 xs a day and sometimes all they eat is the "juice" part.

Zach has a fish allergy so I've tried to find really juicy canned with no fish. Their favorite is Avoderm Chicken chunks. Whatever is in that goop they really LOVE it. They'd eat it for all their meals if they could. They do NOT eat the chicken chunks - only the gelatinous soup.

They also love:
Merrick's- Turducken and Grannies Pot Pie
Instinct's: Duck and Lamb formulas.

All of these are very juicy.
