Hi everyone,

I'm concerned that I just found out that the vet I've been seeing for years is letting an unlicensed man operate on animals and doing pretty much everything a vet would do. He has no experience with animals other than the two years he's been working with her. Isn't this against the law? I'm very annoyed as I got my dog neutered through her and I was assured that he would be very well taken care of by HER. Now I find out this.

Do I report her and to whom?

I live in the No. Va area near DC.
Just want to point out that the person operating may actually be a vet from another country who is "re certifying" to practice in the US. So though he might not be a vet in the US, he might be a vet in his home country....

Just like foreign doctors have to relicence or earn a US licence/boards here to practice. Same thing for vets. I know the USDA hires foreign vets all the time.... from RSA and Australia etc etc...don't know how they certify them to practice in the US... but they do. So just a thought!

He is not from another country, born and raised in the US. She admitted he was unlicensed, she said he's seen her do it so many times she trusts him. If anyone wants her name and info, just PM me.
