Great idea!! Although, my mom moved in with me since my dad passed away and having one of your parents pass on really does wake you up. I tell my mom every day that I love her and how needed she is. I always hug her
I had moved back in with my Mom on September 26th, 2006. On October 15th, my Stepdad died in his sleep. He was driving for Fedex Custom Critical, so he was out on the road. My cousin, who was his partner in the truck, found him in the morning. I'm just glad I was there for her because if I wasn't, she would have been all alone when she got the call. I stayed until Dec 2008 when I moved here.
I call her fairly often. I'll email her as she is at my sister's right now.

My mother's birthday was on February 28th, she would have been 76. She passed away in 1995 at the age of 62. It is through my mom, that I have come to love animals so much, especially cats
My mom loved cats so much. I sure wish she could be here today, to experience the love of our big cats too

My mom is just learning to use the computer and email, and she emailed me a couple times yesterday, to which I replied and sent her my love (as well as links to videos of my kitty lol). I need to call her today. We try to talk every day, and I go over to see her a few times a week. We've always been close, even if we don't always see eye to eye on some things.
My Mother's Birthday was March 18th. She passed away Septmeber 2 2005. Strangely My father also died on September 2 but in 1977. Their birthdays are always sad days for me. I miss them both

I lost my Mom Sept 13th 199 to Breast Cancer that went into her Lungs.
She was only 54 when she died and I still miss her and feel cheated.
It really hurt my Dad when she died.
