Two of my three cats eat in the kitchen, but Rocky prefers to eat in one of the bedrooms or dining room, so I bring his plate of wet food to him. Just before I set it down in front of him, he always yawns. Any ideas why he does this?

"FINALLY.. I could have taken a nap for how long it took you to serve me."

Lol! No idea. Maybe watching you open the can wore him out? Does he eat well or is the yawning a sign that he doesn't love what you're serving?

I wish I knew! He eats what I give him, so that's probably not it. Try and figure out a cat!

I read somewhere that cat's yawning are showing reassurance and contentment or something along those lines...so I think it means it's a good thing??
