Can anyone in West Central Fl help this little guy?

I live in Mass but I read my home newspaper online to keep up with what is going on down there. I saw this story and I would like to help but I am too far away to help this little guy and thought I would post the link here and see if there was anyone in the area that might know someone that could help.

As this kitty was a feral he will need someone with feral experience. He will have to be kept indoors from now on.

I am very saddened that someone did this to this poor little guy it breaks my heart. I applaud the people who were caring for him.

I sent an email to them a few minutes ago to find out about adopting Stripey if he is still available What a terrible thing to do. We can provide him a loving and safe home. I hope we hear something back from them.
