sneezing and sounds kinda stuffy..

the black kitty has been sneezing alittle and sounds kinda stuff. So i'm kinda worried about her. I'm trying to get a vet appointment but everything seems to be booked up. Hopefully she can go in monday and get tested for felv and fiv. Do you think she might just have a cold or should I be worrying about felv and fiv

Are her only signs sneezing and stuffiness? If that's it I wouldn't think of the worst possibility. It might just be a cold, a little respitory infection. Isis just got over a respitory infection, she was bright and cheery but she sneezed constantly and had a running nose. It took two weeks for it to clear up (she's just a baby) but she did with taking all her meds.

I would keep her away from the others until you find out though Val. It is hard to say what it is until all the regular tests have been run. If there is a health food store close, a bottle of Grapefruit Seed Extract wouldn't hurt her. A few drops in her wet food once a day would help fight off a infection such as a cold etc. But if it is something else, then it won't help much. Keep your new one warm and away from drafts and apart from the other kitties as well.

she is staying in the master bathroom room and has some towels and food. She is an AWESOME cat! I love her so much already!! the black kitty vibes worked so good! hopefully some healthy kittie vibes with work too
