Fafeena has always been a very "chunky" girl. She eats well.

She is one of the farm kitties - she has always been the one who will scrape all the food into a pile on the edge of the pan, then hunker down on it & eat around her - making her very own stash.

I brought Fafeena (a.k.a. Feen) & Cow in for their wet food supper. This is Feen eating.

She's 15 now, getting on in years & health. Blind in one eye (it's clouded over), partially blind in the other eye. Going deaf. She has named her successor & trained him well - Cow will reign when she goes over the Rainbow Bridge. I didn't think she'd make it another winter, she has tamed down a lot - she comes in to warm up often & hangs out in the bathroom. She will still only stay in for an hour at a time before she starts going bonkers.

Love ya, Feenster.

Making sure to bring along some tidbits in her paws to have for a snack later?

She's proportioned exactly like my Shadow: a nice solid chunk!
I really adore her coat.. absolutely gorgeous!
But why would she be passing soon if she's only blind and deaf? Every cat I've ever known has tamed in their later years and it was never a sign of ill health.

It's not the blind/deaf part that worries me, it's her overall health. She definitely has some underlying health issues. I know she has a fairly severe heart murmur - and she needs a blood panel to see what's going on inside.
