I have this same problem. I stand there looking at my hands going right-left. I also have to do the same thing with North, South, East, West. I have to turn myself towards something I know is to the North to get my directions. If I am not familar with something that is North or South of me I am lost lol. Thank goodness for GPS.

As I've always said, sometimes we should stop telling ourselves we can't because with practice most people can learn just about anything. (aside from the direction issues, I think that's a lost cause for all of you.
)

That said, I do have some can'ts that are unavoidable.

1) I can't be up high, and definitely cannot look down. Extreme acrophobia.

2) I can't swim. It's a near phobia that has kept me from learning and a strong aversion to being touched while I'm in water (probably from being nearly drowned). While I could rectify this by learning... I'm not inclined to.

3) This one is silly, but I cannot tolerate the smell of mayonnaise, mustard, and ranch.
Strong smells in general like this make me gag. So if anyone wanted a sure fire way to make me run away from them like a little girl, chase me with one of these items.

4) Because I hope this changes someday: I cannot stand in place for more than 10 minutes, more than that and I must walk around or sit. This is due to my blood vessels in my legs not constricting as they should so enough blood does not get back to my heart and brain. Medication helps a little but there's nothing out there yet to really help those of us that suffer from this.

I can't touch my toes either, never could and never will be able to. Those that can't and never have been able to may want to have their lower back x-rayed sometime as there's a deformity that can cause this, called a transitional vertebrae - in other words two vertebrae are fused together. It causes problems in the levels above it that must be compensated for (muscles kept strong) or one can end up with a herniated disc earlier on in life.

I have never been able to do somersaults (sp)

I'm not very good electronically, altho I know how to use them, I have to have someone else hook them up.

I can't measure for curtains or drapes, always afraid I'll buy the wrong size.

3. I absolutely cannot sew. Even though I work at a sewing manufacturing
store.
I can't sew either but when I was in the USN, every sailor had to know how to sew his or her own clothes.

1. I cannot sing and will not do so even in church.

2. I cannot fix or even work on a car.

3. I cannot train Persi to do anything he does not want to do.

That's my #1 also! I got lost when I had to take off my wedding ring to have surgery on my left hand. We need to form a club.

2) I can't put my face into water without holding my nose

3) I can't take any drug or derivative in the penicillin, sulfa or cephlasporin families. I pray that I never get a bacterial infection.

2. I can't walk into a tattoo parlor without getting something done
3. I can't seem to stop doubting myself with everything
