You needn't feel too disappointed. The "conservatives" that are slamming her are not, in my opinion, really conservatives. They are conservative
pundits, people who make lots and lots of money and glean nice ratings by stirring people's emotions and saying what they think their advertiser's target audience want to hear. The conservatives I know at work are merely saying "well, she's got a point, if Americans weren't buying, they probably wouldn't be selling".
Sadly there will probably always be a market for illegal drugs in the world, but the US is by far the most lucrative.
