Seems we are being surrounded by naked cats lately. I guess we can call this a fur optional site.

Yeah I noticed, hehehe. There's a whole bunch of spots too though, to be honest.

Seems everyone wants a sphynx all of a sudden.
My sister is getting a Devon Rex tomorrow so there will be something else other then a sphynx.
We can rename the site to Sphynx R Us Lol.
I keep getting emails asking what a sphynx feels like.

Maybe they would like a nice spotted coat.....

Choice of 3 types of spotted coat.

1. Home grown domestic (Ocicat)

2. Exotic Egyptian coat (Mau)

3. Touch of the Wild (Bengal)

I love spotted cats of all kinds
I wanted and Egyptian Mau for the longest. I dont know enough about Oci's or the Bengals, well other than they are quite stunning to look at.

The nakeds are so sweet, so affectionate
I am already deciding on my third to round out the group

Hmmm... don't you have to bathe the Sphynxes regularly? So that's grooming of a different kind...

I'd much rather give a Sphynx a bath every day (or at least wiped down) then to sit and comb a long hair cat .....

I think if I wanted 7 hairy cats in the house, I'd be divorced LOL. My Murray is the only cat with a full coat of hair in the house, I cannot believe how much less hair there is than what I used to have. No more hairballs under the desk or inside the computers LOL

Anita, I am so happy to hear you have fallen for your sphynxes and are thinking of getting another
I cannot wait for babies. I am so excited for everything to come together and I can try to get the most beautiful kittens. It's not just their looks that count, it's the whole process of raising that is so important, and not everyone realizes what goes into the nurturing and socializing of babies. But, that being said, I have the time to put into all of my cats and future kittens as I don't work outside the home.

I've noticed the naked invasion too, I think the spotted crew still have higher numbers though.

Ocicats barely shed, I believe Bengals are the same.

That'd be the one I'd take as well. I love calicos and that one just stands out so much from the others. Hubby already let me know his answer to the question, so I will have to wait and see if I get my own in a future litter. My calico female I do have is a devon/sphynx cross and she is just gorgeous.

Turkish Vans don't require daily grooming!
A Turkish Van coat is very easy to manage, due to their lack of undercoat. Show bathing is a different story, but day to day maintenance is very easy.

Some of my babies are going to be at the ACFA show in Fargo. If you're there, keep an eye out for them!

Yup, me too.

I'm not a fan of nekkid kitties.....like em with fur, and prefer fluffballs.
Raggies don't shed much

I don't know... I find going home and combing Disa very calming, especially since he'll climb into my lap and purr the whole time.
