Oh I know.We see it all the time too.The older ones usually are the last to be adopted. But in some cases older ones do get lucky.Cabot who seems like the "perfect" dog hasn't been so lucky.
He is a heealthy, quiet, docile, calm, cuddly, loves everyone, loves cats and dogs, doesn't go after my rats, don't have any bad habits (garbage raiding,chewing...etc) and he is crate and house trained. He is "perfect"!!!
I have considered adopting him myself, since I am ready to adopt my own dog and am up for the commitment...but I don't really want to adopt a beagle.I foster them all the time, but could never imagine
owning one.
