Cannot find my webcam and don't know if I have to have video camera. But Avalon is just very playful.

Now my husband is on dialysis and has vasculitis which is a deadly (but treatable) lung disease. Having both these problems the house has to be infection and germ free so the VA provided us with a housekeeper to keep the home disinfected.

Anyway, Avalon is taken with the HK since she has had cats all her life. She runs around all over the place and jumps on the furniture. She then sometimes scratches the throwrugs. It seems like she is doing relays. Maybe this does not seem too funny to you guys unless I take pics. There is never a dull moment here. She loves company. When the comcast guy came over to work on my internet (thus my reason for my long absense) she went nuts and started sniffing his bags.

She is a little scared of my husband since he tends to discipline. One night he got rough with her because she got in our bedroom closet. As a result, she pooped on the floor so I got on his case about it.

I am also mad at another brother of my husband because he referred to Avalon as a "frgin cat".

I am so sorry about your husband's illness. It must be difficult and stressful. I do hope he doesn't hit your kitten? If a kitten/cat gets so scared to loose control of her bowels, that's reason for concern. This could start a chain of behavior problems that could be very difficult to correct.

Please have a look at this http://www.thecatsite.com/Behavior/4...-Dont-Mix.html . It was written by a very experienced writter and long time TCS member.

Everyone here is very knowledgeable and will try their best to help. I hope your husband's health improves.

Thanks for the link. My husband and all his siblings always had dobies when growing up and when we got this home (we were in an apartment before so no pets), he wanted a minature pintcher and I said the day he brings a dog home is the day I move out since I am afraid of dogs especially the dobies. His thing is not cats and same with that brother of his who referred to Avalon as a "frgn cat". Now the brother who gave us the kitty likes them since his GF taught him to like them. My husband claims he does love Avalon but here is what happened today.

When he went to the door to go to dialysis, I heard a huge cry
from Avalon that I never heard before and I got off my puter and said what is going on and he told me he accidently stepped on his tail. I yelled at him and told him he needs to watch where he walks. By then Avalon kept running from me and when she didn't, and I held her, she tried to bite me so I let her down. She kept running and hiding. When my husband called, I told him off again and his excuse is "that d cat is all over the place". Wait till he gets home.
