She may be starting labor, possibly lost her mucous plug. Check out this thread. I looks like it may be the same thing that Sarah (roz84's cat) did, and she had her kittens later the same day.

I would just clean her up with warm water and keep an eye on her.
for a speedy delivery for Keller. Keep the camera handy and keep us updated.

I called the vet and they basically said the same thing. The poor girl is so big she can't really clean back there.

She is really restless now, going from room to room. Do cats have contractions like we do? She stopped in the living room, and meowed several times, each meow increasing in intensity. Now she is off wandering again.

Yes, they do have contractions, but their uterus is shaped differently than a humans. The moving around is b/c she is uncomfortable and it helps with the delivery initially... just like us. Just keep an eye on her... and hopefully she won't decide to birth someplace unreachable by you.

ETA: just looked at the pics - poor Keller. She looks like a fluffy, white, beached whale! I hope this is all over for her and you soon and that everything goes well!!!

She is in labor and should have kittens soon.
You can see when they have contractions.
My Meeko demanded Coco be with her when she had Yoshi.
Coco had kittens 6 weeks before her.
Meeko would walk back and forth meowing and hse had a discharge.
You have a box ready?

Do your best to keep her confined to ONE room and don't let her keep roaming around. She will wind up having the kittens where you cannot get to them or help her if needed.

She mostly wants to be where I am. She does keep going into the office where her bed is. I tried shutting her in there but she cried and cried. I will leave her in there overnight.
