Not my kitty, but the beloved cat of my friend John.

Aurora was 19 years old. She'd been on meds, for awhile, was very frail, and lost her battle yesterday. She had spent the night in emergency, and the vet called him yesterday morning and said it was time.

She was loved and cared for these 19 years. John is very sad, but knew it was her time to go. I feel bad so bad for him. I called to leave a message last night and started crying on the message.

She was a sweet cat, and I know he'll miss her.

No matter how long we have them , it's never long enough. Give your friend, John, my deepest condolences and let him know that others understand what it's like to lose a fur friend.

Rest in peace, Aurora.

Aww....thanks so much, everyone. I'll pass your kind thoughts onto John. I know he'll appreciate them.
