Chair Hog!

So I'm sitting at the computer, right now, Monday evening, sitting toward the front of the chair a bit, in other words, not with my butt to the back. Maybe taking up 2/3 of the seat with my big butt. Genever jumps up to get some attention, and eventually within a minute or 2 of petting gets curled up and all comfy while I somehow end up just barely sitting on the edge! Jeez! Too cute though so I twisted around and took a picture instead of moving her. Again, I didn't intrude upon her space, I was sitting and she took over MY space! It's so funny, as crazy playful as she is, she sure is good at getting into that instant catnap mode!

Were you expecting different? After all it's Genever's chair! Everything belongs to the cat!
Genever is a beauty! How old is she?

It's very generous of Genever to let you sit in HER chair. She's a cutie, and I know all about chair thieves. I have two of them myself.

My boyfriend's RB cat used to lure him out of his computer chair - meow, meow, meow... pacing, pacing... in and out of the computer room like he wanted something. Doug would get up to see what was going on... and ZOOOM!!! Cato would zip past him and into the chair!!! Nyah, Nyah!!! Made ya move!!!

Genever is 1.5 years old, we adopted her on January 25, so it'll be 2 months tomorrow!

I'm used to her wanting to be in on the action and sharing seats, but last night, man she just somehow ended up all curled up and comfy with me almost falling off. Silly girl. But she's a sweetie.

My Raven does that. He meows outside the room, sounding distressed. When I get up to see what's wrong, he races back in and steals my chair. I can't get mad, though, because he's so dang cute. I keep an extra chair in the room for that purpose, but sometimes, Shadow gets that chair, and I am left standing.

Maybe it's a black cat thing. Cato was a black kitty with gorgeous green eyes.

I tried scaring the boys a couple by acting as if I didn't see them and was going to sit on them, but all they did was watch.

I'd love to see more pics of her! Seems like she might look a bit like my Shadow?
