First off pics from Knoxville. My boyfriend just moved here a few months back and we were exploring the Sunsphere and Worlds Fair Park:
Views from the top

Looking down at the Amphitheater

Ground level at the Amphitheater, there is normally a pond around it but they had it drained to clean it.

Looking up at the Sunsphere

More in next post!!

My boyfriends family always has tickets to BMS races and I got to go to the Food City 500 this year. It was a blast!

View from our seats

Parachute guy with a smoker attached to him

After he landed

Another parachute guy with the American Flag attached

Results of a caution

Tower

Victory lane

Me and the boy lol he looks so happy huh?

The heard of people leaving. This is normally one of the main roads through town. Its part of 11E... after a race, its a sidewalk!

I'm loving it here and cannot wait to move in with him!

LOL I dont really watch it regularly! But I was pulling for Montoya to win or Vickers to get 20th! I wanted to win the money! His family has a pot where you pay $5 get 2 names and whoever has the driver that wins get $55 and 20th place gets $50.

Those are great pics!! I'm not a NASCAR fan myself; but having grown up around it so much I can appreciate it a tiny bit more than I would otherwise!
I'll be driving past Bristol in just a couple weeks when DH and I go visit family in NE Tennessee.

SOOO jealous! I have wanted to go to a Nascar race for sooo long! Travis went to a race in Michigan a few years ago with one of his college buddies and bought Michael Waltrip's tire

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kasey Kahne and am so jealous! I see he is in the corner of one of the pics

Trav and I were in SC and there was an outlet and we bought a life size Kasey cut-out and were planning on putting it in our basement since Trav is a Kasey fan too

How fun!

We had a blast! Garys family has had tickets for the past 11 years and they've just renewed and added over the years. I cannot wait to go to the fall race! If you are near East TN during August I'm sure you can find tickets! Heck the scalpers were selling them for $50 the day of just trying to get rid of them, face value is $93! (they are so used to it being sold out for months and it sold out the day before this year)

Knoxville is the one that is right next to Gatlinburg, right? I went skiing there once if that's it. These pics looks sooo familiar to me though and i'm thinking it must be it. I thought it was really pretty I love how the mountains are there in the city

Knoxville is around 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge and Seivierville are right next to Gatlinburg. Gburg is a fun city too!
