Flesh colored bump

Hi, I just noticed a small flesh colored bump the size of a pencil eraser under my black fluffy cats arm. She keeps moving and gets mad when I try to investigate further. She's an indoor cat. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks!

The first easy guess would be a sebaceous cyst. However, it should definitely be checked by a vet.

It could also be a flea, or insect bite, if she is allergic.

Hi. I took my cat to the vet they could not say for sure what it was and it would cost $$ to biopsy it or cut it off under surgery. Both of those options I did not want to put my 14yr old cat through and opted to watch the flesh colored bump in hopes that it is just a cyst.

The vet gave me Animax cream which is an anti-inflammatory. I asked if it was safe on the bump or could make it worse and the vet could not say for sure. I feel apprehensive about putting the cream on the bump.

The bump is flesh colored and about the size of a pinky nail. Next to it was a dried scar like piece on the flesh - perhaps and old cyst that drained???
I really hope it's not cancerous.

Has anyone used Animax before on a cyst?
