Currently the kitties are getting Blue Buffalo dry food in the morning, then they split a can of wet at night. Lately, the wet's been Meow Mix or Wellness. Sometimes I feed them the new Friskies Selects in the green cans.

Namine has been getting really stinky poo in the morning, usually right after she eats the dry food. This morning, I fed them the dry, and maybe 10 min later she was in the litterbox, and it was rancid! They both have been vet checked so nothing is wrong there, so I was thinking it might be the dry. It's been happening for a few months, but I never had a chance to look at new foods. I've been doing searches on here and reading people's opinions on new foods. I would like something readily accessible at Petco or Petsmart as it's easy for me to go to. They didn't like Nutro or Authority. I was thinking maybe Natural Balance. It looks like its around the same price as Blue Buffalo.

Or is it the wet food I've been feeding them?

Opinions? Suggestions?

I would lean more towards the wet. Do you notice is when they eat wellness canned or is it only when they other canned?

It could be when she eats other canned. I guess I've just noticed it all the time, but it could be when she eats other kinds. I'm gonna pick up some Wellness on my way home and try that for a little bit. It's expensive though. I try to catch it when there are sales but there haven't been any lately.

Natural Balance is a good food and is very affordable (imo). It's higher in calories than most dry foods so you should watch portion sizes. 1 of my cats eats this now, but his poop is AWFUL smelling (even for poop). When my other 2 cats ate it though, they never had a problem with that.
