I friend from another board says her sister cat has something wrong with her.
This is what she posted:
Not sure of the term, but her vert calls her a bleeder. She was declawed at a few weeks (maybe months, I am not sure) and they had to keep her for almost an extra week because she lost so much blood. My sis is really worried about her because she decided to get her spayed and they refuse to do it because they are afraid that she would bleed to death. The vet never told her this beforehand. She has noticed that whenever her cat goes into heat, she seems to lose weight. She wants to know if this is normal for this condition, or if she should see about finding another vet. This vet doesn't seemed concerned about the bleeding issue, but my sis is.
I suggusted to find another vet and double check this. I wanted to know what you guys thought.
