Pause died today.

Lilyluvscats was right, Pause is a true cat hero Maybe the bladder stone is what caused this sad event; it really illustrates how good cats are at hiding their discomfort.
You are right about there never being a good time to lose such a special friend. I have lost loved ones to violent crimes and to terminal illnesses and it is always a shock, always painful.
My assistant's grandmother passed yesterday, shortly after noon, PST - Maybe Pause is there to greet her at the Bridge, because her beloved little dog is still here on Earth, comforting the widower & the rest of the family.
Beautiful Pause, play happily in Heaven with the rest of our RB TCS kitties - there's quite a gathering over there with some very wonderful cats and lots & lots of special little angels to be with you until we are all reunited again

For that I'm glad. It was hard to decide what to say... I just miss him so freakin' much. I never thought I would really ever love my cats so much, I'm definitley more of a dog person but man. They just weasel their way into your heart.

Haha wow I didn't realize that till you brought it up... I named him Pause 'cause I thought it looked like the symbol on a remote control. I actually dreamt about his death for the first time last night and in my dream was going to get the 'pause symbol' tattooed on my wrist but the artist wrote his name instead. I've been thinking about it a lot today and if I can find a good enough picture to blow up I think I'd like to get his markings on his head as a tattoo somewhere. Sounds crazy and weird, I know. But then I could have a piece of him with me.

Me, too. What a wonderful tribute you made for your special boy.

He was so very lucky to have to look after him, you know there are so many that have no one. Im sure he knows how deeply he is loved.

RIP to Pause...

I really miss my cat. I watched the video I made finally. I haven't seen it since I put it together and it made me realize just how much I still miss him. Vas'ka is the cat who got Pause's blood. He passed away this past Friday [April 10th]. I'm just angry. I know he had leukemia and was going to die but I feel like the last bit of Pause is gone. I'm angry because thinking now I don't think the anesthesia killed him, it had to have been the blood transfusion, that's all we've come to the conclusion of. It shouldn't have killed him, but it did. I'm really hoping our client who has his brother [Malcolm] will be able to bring him in soon, I just want to see him, they looked a lot a like and I think it might help me with closing all of this. Sorry to bring this post up again, but I didn't want to make two posts. I miss my kitty so much.
