I have a job!

After 10 years I have an actual, honest to God job
Nothing glamorous, but full time, plus benes and no worries of ever downsizing.

Housekeeping at the Avi Tribal Casino & Resort.
Just need to finish the formalities, do my drug test and attend orientation, YAY!

Yay! In these times having ANY job is good news, plus people will always gamble!

Congratulations! Where I live today there was a job fair...over 12,000 people showed up for only 2,500 job openings, so that is awesome you found a job!

Hey, I've eaten in there, several times! I'm not a gambler, but we have friends who live across the river in Fort Mohave. He drives a truck, but she stays home and is actually a professional gambler.

And I once saw Ray Charles performing in there.

Tell me about it. I've got friends graduating from law school who CAN'T FIND JOBS! (and a few even graduated magna). How scary is that? I'm just about to start law school and maybe even go for a JD/MBA and I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to be able to find internships let alone a job afterwards. An advanced degree is worthless when nobody is hiring regardless.

Scary times we're in.
