I am NOT looking forward to the hunt for a good vet.
My current vet came to me highly recommended by a friend of mine who has a colony of ferals. He's a pleasant guy, but being a little dinky vet in a little dinky town, he's out for cash. The flea stuff he gave us was insanely expensive, and it would cost two to three times as much to spay Hobbie as it would if I took him to a "regular" vet in a more densely populated area. He condones keeping cats indoors, which is good - But he condones having them declawed.
I don't think I've ever heard of an "educated" cat person encouraging declawing.
I really need to get Hobbie to a vet soon - She's been peeing where she's not supposed to, so I want to get her checked out and spayed.
I know a lot of you guys are from this area, so I'm hoping somebody can recomend a good vet. I'm willing to go anywhere around Easton, Bethlehem, Allentown, Stroudsburg.. Even into Jersey around Phillipsburg. So, basically anywhere in Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe, or Warren counties.
Anyone?
