Thank you so much everyone for your vibes..I am going over to the vets on my lunch hour to see her and get an update.....if there's anything to update. Thanks everyone so very much for all the vibes and well wishes. I hope and pray they work, but am trying somehow to prepare myself for the fact that it is in cancer and no cure............

I went to see her at lunch. They brought her into an exam room and pretty much left me alone with her. She was happy to see me and purred a bit. She was wet from my tears, but I tried real hard not to let too many fall. I tried to stay upbeat and happy for her. I took some of her food and she did eat/lick it I'd say at least 5-7 bites. I felt her and I did feel that her lymph nodes/glands are swollen by her neck. I'm still praying that the tests that are due back tomorrow come back as a really bad infection but I'm trying real hard not to get my hopes up. I stayed with her for about a half hour, just petting and talking to her, holding her close to my heart. Hurt like heck to give her back, but I know she's in the best place for the moment.

Keep those vibes coming guys.........forwhat ever the diagnosis turns out to be, we'll both need them.

Well, the vet called and said he got the blood work back but it isn't clear on what it's saying. The white blood cell is high, and something else that I can't remember. He wants to knock her out this afternoon and take some fluid from one of her swollen lymph nodes and send it off. he said other than doing a biopsy, that will definitely tell him if it's cancer or not. He says he's leaning towards cancer, but he doesn't want to give up on her just in case it is a terrible infection.

I'm goign to see her at lunch and then we're picking her up tonight to bring her home. he says he doesn't think that they're doing anyting forher there that we can't do for her at home. She's just not eating or drinking much and that breaks my heart.

The fluid that they're going to draw from her today will be sent out but will take 4-5 days to come back. It will prob be early next week. If it comes back as to what he thinks it is, then I'll have to make the decision on how long she has left. It will be one of the toughest things I've done. Right now I don't know where I'll find the strength but I guess it'll have to come from somewhere if it's nothing treatble....I won't have her suffer to keep her around because I don't want to lose her..

Please keep those prayers coming that it's still a terrible infection.

Oh no, this is horrible! Many and much love for you and the rest of your kitties. I sincerely hope it turns out to be an infection and Trixie comes through it with your wonderful help. Best wishes.
