I remember seeing the original in the theater.

from what i saw, I liked The original best.
I liked the orginal best too. I remember one of our neighbors got a Siamese sortly after that movie came out. And of course they named their new kitty DC.
I haven't seen the original, only the 97 version. Saw it while channel surfing at my parents house over Xmas time.
