OK is there any food low in carbs other than Origen or innova?

Thats not sos high in fats and its meant for adult cats only and not kittens? THere must be something?

Is picking a food with fish in it better for fat cats?

High in fat isn't bad in cat food, even for overweight cats. You want low carb--preferably wet food, there you will find the lowest carbs.

There are many grain frees that are for the most part low carb( if you search for grain free dry there is a thread with most of them

I agree wet is likely best for a chubby kitty as most premiums are 15% OR LESS carbs

Fat is one of two things a cat really needs .. the other is protein ...

Fish for wt loss that is a new one ... likely the thinking is it is leaner which is hard to determine as most is labeled fish meal or white fish meal or ocean fish meal.. who knows the fat contents

If the food is good but they're gaining weight, feed them less of it!

Taste of the Wild? I don't know how it compares percentage wise, but it sure is cheaper than most grain frees. LINK

I'm feeding Poppy dry Evo and he's farting alot and his poop does stink pretty bad!
