I don't think that's weird at all... you have every right to be sad and wish that Mr. Jinx could come home. Time will help heal your heart, but for now, just let yourself miss him as much as you need to.

Take care,
Candace

I frequently think fondly of several past cats. Snoopy was a grump, but he was a lovable grump, and we had him for 14 years. Truman was such a lover, Dottie had to wear a hair net to sleep to keep him out of her hair at night! Wickett was a lovable hunk, our "concrete block" cat, and we were so sad to have to send him to the bridge.

There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of at least one of them.

omg that's totally normal, but I am so sorry for your loss... After my hamster died, I still talked to her for a few weeks afterwards even though she was no longer there...I was used to coming home and saying hello to her and giving her love every single day first thing and a lot of times I caught myself still saying hello ....Time heals is all I can say...Hugs to you

Wow, I had to do a search to find your Bridge post after reading this! I am so sorry for you! Mr Jinx went knowing love from you. I know how you feel about him coming home. I felt that way after I had Oliver PTS. It is so surreal.

It really does help having a kitty in your life, as I'm in the same boat as you. Whisky has been with me for almost 15 years. Although, he is still in the states. He should be coming over sometime this month.

Oh, Scott... I've been offline for a few days, and I didn't know. I'm so awful sorry.

You and Mr. Jinx went through some difficult times together, and if there's a silver lining here, it's knowing that his emotional problems had a physical cause... it was not that he didn't love you.

It's not weird at all. I still have dreams a lot where when I wake up, I think that my RB babies Battery and Mag are still at the foot of my bed.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Mr. Jinx
