I just found out and I am completely devastated and guilt ridden right now. I tried to be so optimistic about her coming home but there was one place that I did not look and that caused her death. She was up in a tree beside the highway, she tried to get out of the tree and died. I will not go into details. Hubby is just as upset as I am but he is giving me my space to deal with this. No one else in my family seems to care as much as I do over this.

All that hope and she is still gone.

I am so, very sorry for your loss of Pong. I was hoping this would end up happily. I know right now you are probably just raw. Take time to grieve; and bless your husband for understanding. Know that we all understand and care, too.

I'm so sorry.
I was hoping for a happier outcome. How is Ping doing?
for him, too.

Thank You everyone for the vibes this way. My parents and what not don't really seem to give a flip but everyone here and my friends IRL are all very supportive right now. Thank You.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!

I am SO sorry to hear this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Susan - whatever happened, I hope it happened quickly. Pong was very loved, and I am SURE she is sending you all the comfort she can. Whatever happened, she is no longer in pain, and she is no longer scared, and she'll be waiting to love all over you again.

Pong, play happily.

I cannot imagine how much you are hurting right now.

I am doing a bit better than I was when I posted this. I am not as emotional now. I don't know when or if I will ever get over this. And the hubby (gosh bless him) said he would understand when and if I ever want to get another cat. Right now it hurts my heart to much to think of replacing her so soon. There no other cat that would ever replace her in my heart. We all loved her so very much and it hurts us all that she is gone.

Ping was doing ok with everything. Until she was found and hubby well you know. He has her smell on him that makes Ping get all excited when hubby comes in. He has washed and washed and still Ping acts the same, very happy because he thinks she is home. Now he is laying half asleep facing the front door.

I am so sorry for you and your family and for Ping. You don't have to worry about what anyone else says, you loved Pong and you can grieve however you need to. You can also take some comfort in the fact that you gave her so much love and a very happy home. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
