I guess he went off to die. A neighbor found him in their yard today, he was laying there dead...

I hope so too. I have been crying all afternoon. It was so hard for me to have to bury him, but I made a nice little cross and put his collar and bandanna on it. I guess I will have to wait until I get to heaven to see him again, at least he has all the tuna he can eat and the best milk a cat could want...

I'm so sorry. At least you got to make up for a short while with him before he passed...

I'm so sorry you lost your Mr. Jinx.
I've been following your other thread but never thought it would end this way. RIP sweet kitty.

I miss him so much, I miss the way he used to tap me on the shoulder to get attention, the way he used to wake me up in the morning by meowing at me when I was half awake, or how he would lick my chin before bed time, or how used to cuddle up with me when I was not feeling well,

This is so hard to hear. I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand the above opinions re: poisoning, but the way he growled and avoided you under the porch - that sounds so much like he was sick. That's how cats get when they go off to die. I'm so, so sorry, for both you and Mr. Jinx. Don't forget to take care of yourself through this ordeal, as well.

It's very hard and you're probably in major shock from the surprise of it.

It will be hard for a while, but time will gradually make it easier. You'll always miss him but it won't be as overwhelming as it is right now.

I had the same memories when I lost Sheba-I wrote them down before I would forget and taped the paper to the back of the frame I have one of her pictures in.

Sorry for your loss of Mr. Jinx.

Condolences on your loss of Mr. Jinx. May you find comfort and healing in your special memories of how much he enjoyed the good food and the loving attention that you gave him. The angels over RB will take good care of him until someday you two are reunited again
