Well Little is 6 1/2 weeks old now and using the litterbox very well with no accidents. He is eating big boy food also but prefers canned to dry still. I got some Royal Canin baby cat dry food and he likes that pretty well but mostly just mixed with his dry food. He still gets a bottle at night and sometimes in the morning. One thing I am curious about is I have yet to see him drink any water. About a week ago he gave the water dish a good sniff and sucked a bunch of water up into his nose..since then he is not interested at all. Any suggestions on that one??

He is a very independant little guy and loves to explore and play! The big cats are mostly less than thrilled about the new addition and for the most part totally ignore him. One of my cats, Marley, is very interested though and can't wait for Little to be big enough to wrestle and play with. He is still a bit too rough for how small he is but soon enough I think they will be best buds! Here are a few new pics

Can't see the pictures...
If he is eating wet food, and having a bottle at night and another in the morning, chances are he doesn't need any water, and that's why he is not thirsty... Leave the water always available anyways, one day he will get curious/thirsty enough to try it again

Awww, I can't view the pictures either

Wet food might be all the liquid he needs (along with bottles). I am glad he has gotten to be such a big boy!! You have done a great job!

Still can't see the pics, as the parrot site requests registration... Do you have a photobucket account?

When I had bottle babies I went from the bottle to offering a "slurry, soupy" mixture of canned kitten food and the milk replacement formula. I put it in a jar lid for them. To get them interested I put a tiny bit on my finger, let them sniff, then I carefully rubbed a little on their gums to let them taste. Sometimes they would lick more and sometimes not. The water drinking came after they learned how to lap the soupy food mixture. It just takes time. He is getting plenty water from the milk. Glad he is doing well and growing. You have done a great job!
