Dry cat food

So once you pour out of container and let it sit in bowl how long does it stay good for,just want to make sure im not feeding my baby bad food.

I only put on the plate the right amount for the day - usually there is nothing left in the morning, so I don't have that issue.
I am not sure how long you can leave dry food out, but I suppose a long time... It is just not going to be as crunchy and crispy as in the beginning.

You should probably be feeding a measured amount (if your cat is an adult this is more important than if it is a kitten) and if you do that then your kitty will eat that amount within 48 hours. If there are a couple pieces left in Bijou's bowl I usually dump them and put out a fresh dish. I mainly do this because I use clean bowls for each feeding. I bought about 12 of them at the dollar store so I can put the soiled ones in the dishwasher.

Dry food will go rancid so I usually store it in a can (I use one of those large popcorn cans that you get at Christmas time).
