Consider L-Lysine as a supplement to boost a cats immune system. If used as a regular supplement to their diet, it can help to control things such as feline herpes. You shouldn't consider it like a medical prescription, where you give it for a week or 2 and expect a cure. I compare it to taking vitamin supplements.
