A good day for Oprah (shelter pup adoption)

Looks like the specials Oprah has done on puppy mills has paid off, for one adorable little Cocker Spaniel puppy. Oprah adopted her from PAWS on Sunday. Granted, she's a puppy, not a full grown dog... but she's still a shelter pup.

Now let's hope others follow suit. Between her and our president, we ought to put a dent in the overpopulation.

Now if we can only get her to put some of that attention on shelter cats...

That's great when rich and/or well known people are adopting pets

I really don't mean to down Oprah but if I had all her multi millions, I'd be buying out all the shelters and hiring tons of staff to find homes
