needy

My male cat (approx 2 years old) has begun sitting/laying in front of our outside door, almost as if he doesn't want anyone to leave or maybe he feels he is protecting us? Quick background - we recently went from 2 adults to 2adults and 1 6 month old babe. Both male & female cats have been really good around the baby and haven't really acted different...until this recent behavior from the male cat. I also feel like he has been more aggressive towards his sister....they have been fighting alot lately.

If they are inside kitties, you might want to invest in some Feliway diffusers to help bring some calm into the home. Spend lots of extra time with him, too. Kitty may feel like the baby is an intruder in his domain and is fearful and acting out towards the other cats.
