I'm pretty sure all kittens have blue eyes... the only ones that keep them that I'm aware of are orientals.

Yup kittens are born with blue eyes and have them up until about 10 weeks.

Siamese/Orientals, Persians/Exotics, Birmans, Ragdolls, Both rex (Devon/Cornish) can all have blue eyes - probably more but I'm tired

Cute Kitty!! I'm a fan of all black cats...
I dunno about purebreds but i know that in domestics, having blue eyes is associated with the pointed coloring and there are rarely any other blue eyed like red tabbies ....but most domestics have green, orange or yellow eyes..

EDIT:
Apparently the red blue eyed tabby i was thinking of is not domestic, it's a special breed called ojos azules I just looked it up because I could have sworn I read that only pointed colors can have blue eyes, and it turns out it's true.

Nope not true - originally they must have had pointed cats in their background but now solids/bi's in Persians/Exotics and other breeds I listed are producing them

I just read where you said you were talking about Domestics not Pedigrees. DUH

I can't speak for Domestics

Check this website out http://www.purrinlot.com/

Our goal is to breed Bicolours with blue/odd eyes. They are so gorgeous!
