Thank you all.
She is six years old.
I had to put my sweet baby, Gray One, my 16 year old kitty that I had since she was 7 weeks old to sleep on January 8th. She had kidney disease, was diagnosed five years ago, but she started having seizures on New Year's Eve, she was in the hospital for four days and I brought her home and was giving her the sub-q fluids and Phenobarbitol for the seizures, but she got worse a few days later and I couldn't put her through any more. She is running free at the bridge now.
So, I took my time and just hunted and hunted and hunted on Petfinder.
I adopted her from the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society. She was adopted out when she was a kitten in 2003 by the LVVHS but turned back in not to long ago because the people were moving, blah, blah, blah. They adopted her out again to an elderly couple, who ended up letting her run outside. Someone picked her up and she is chipped to the LVVHS so she went back to them again.
Then she went into a foster home that had big dogs, she hated that. Then she went to a foster home that had no dogs and one other cat (she doesn't like cats either much). They couldn't take her to weekend adoptions as she hates being in a cage next to other cats.
I got her and brought her home and fully expected her to hide under my bed for a week, but she walked out of the crate and started exploring my bedroom, bathroom and closet and wasn't scared at all. She slept with me the first night, I was shocked. She has met my dogs, small dogs, with supervision. She doesn't like them much but with time they will be okay.
My room is her sanctuary, we will take our time and not force anything with the dogs.
Thank you Yosemite for posting the pictures for me as I am to computer illiterate to know how.
Also, thank you for the compliments on my sweet Luna, I think she is pretty special.
