Has anyone ever fed their cat this? We recently got a puppy and we switched his food to this brand called Chicken Soup for the puppy and we noticed they made cat food in this brand. It has lot of natural ingredients. I was wondering if anyone has used this and what they thought??

Lots of people here feed or have fed this food, and it seems to be a good choice and budget friendly...

it's not a super-premium, grain-free food, but it's a fairly good one.
if you go to the chicken soup website you can search for a dealer near you - it's not usually found in pet stores like some of the others. you can also see an ingredient list there.
if you can't find it nearby, & you have a Petsmart, their Authority is comparable both in price & quality to the chicken soup food.
both the chicken soup & the authority have both kibble & canned foods.

Yep, I use it, too, for both dogs and cats. Good food and budget friendly (for those of use with too many pets
).

For everyone that uses it, are you satisfied with it?? Or can someone recommend better food. Cost really isn't a seller for me. I will feed whatever it is necessary to keep my 2 cats and dog healthy and happy.

i was relatively happy w/it, but it was only sold by one place here - that wasn't always open when i needed to buy food. so i ended up switching to Authority - similar quality, slightly better price.
then, i switched my indoor kitties over to Royal Canin Special 33 - seems to work better for my senior girl. the ferals still get Authority, tho.
Petsmart sells both, & is open fairly late, so it's a one-stop for both sets of cats. i also feed the Authority lamb & rice canned to the indoor cats [it's the only one i've been able to find w/o fish]. the ferals get 9 lives canned.

how old are your cats, do they have any medical issues, and do they eat wet?
If cost is not an issue for you, you might want to consider a good grain free diet, provided they don't have any medical issues where grains would be recommended...

I am happy with it, i can get it easily my global pet foods in the new town over , if cost isn't a factor their are other higher grade foods ie;grain free but mine have been tried on them all -won't touch 'em- plus for me cost is a consideration, we're a multi-pet, multi-kid home.

i do know taste of the wild is very popular it's also made by the same company, mine wouldn't touch it but you may have better luck

Really with foods i have found it boils down to kitty, if they eat it, have good coats and seem generally healthy then the food is working, for us humans it's usually about availability and cost so if you can get a food that meets all those then you've laughing!

I use it plus Taste of the Wild. TOTW is grainfree, and I mix both CS and TOTW. The both cost the same here. If I had to pick just one though, I would pick TOTW over CS.

But yes I am happy with it, but not happy enough to keep it as the only food he eats because of the grains/carbs in it. He really likes it though.
